So... if anyone is wondering why I haven’t uploaded any CC in a month - despite being very inspired - this is why 😅
1000 followers in 7 years may not be much compared to popular Simblrs that make tasteful content. But I am neither of those things, and I may never hit a bigger milestone, so am I going to make a big deal about it? You bet your ass I am.

This is part 1 of 4... the next 3 parts will be posted throughout the day tomorrow. Tonight I bring you hair - colorful hair - and lots of it. Info and downloads are under the cut! (Long post is long!)

These hairs come in the new selection of colors I’ve recently switched to, with some exceptions. Explosive replaces Molotov for the dreads hairs & the twists version of Kaysa, the naturals for Peggy 5054 have 2-toned unnatural streaks & dip-dye on the bangs, and Nouk Lolita comes with an additional 5 streaked recolors. Volatile bases are included for the hairs I retextured myself or edited the original.

The mapping for this wasn't too difficult, but I tried both using Trapping's dreads & blending Nouk's afro textures and it looked stretched and blurry so I just edited the original. It had some strong highlights that didn't look good when I Volatile'd it and ran color actions, so I evened out the brightness.There's a different colored head wrap for each of the 4 natural bins and a black one for the unnaturals. Base textures (solid & patterned) & PNGs for the colors I used are included for anyone who wants to recolor.

I retextured this hair 2 years ago, but Digi fixed the gap in the scalp at the back of the head (and some tiny gaps in the alpha I hadn't noticed) and converted it to M so here's a new set of recolors to work with the unisex mesh. I noticed a strange issue with the dress Mindy has on in the main preview - the texture bleeds into the bottom of the hair - but this ONLY happens with clothing with an alpha layer. Digi explained that the alpha layer and the hair might have the same value so the game doesn't know which to display. Not a major issue but it should be mentioned.

I love FadeToBlack's retexture and dip-dye recolors of this hair, so my intention was just to do more recolors, but I took it a couple steps further, and I'm thrilled with the results! I made the dip-dye on the front part two-toned, and added streaks to the rest in both colors. This set is a bit different - all 12 naturals come this way, with unnatural accent colors by Pooklet, Furbyq, & BerryNooboos. Each has a different combo:



The 21 unnaturals are just the plain colors. I've uploaded 2 versions - one with the streaked naturals binned, and one with them all in custom. (In my own game everything is binned, of course.) I didn’t upload the PSD for this because it’s a disaster, but if anyone wants it I can tidy it up for you.

I LOVE THIS HAIR. I have NO idea why there are so few retextures, and the ones that exist are alpha-edited. This is the original alpha. I want to do some more of Nouk's hairs, they may be super old but they're absolutely iconic. And yep, more streaks! What can I say, Furbyq's workshop got me hyped 😁 This time there's just 5 and they're an addition to the regular set of colors.



The streak masks (yes, plural, there are 2 textures) are included for anyone who wants to make recolors.

I think a lot of 4t2 dreads hairs use an EA texture, because this one was almost identical to Haze, so again new textures didn't play nicely with it. Except for the scalp, which I used Nouk's afro textures on because it didn't have meshed detail. I only did V1 because that's the one I'm using in my game, but feel free to put my recolors on the other version.The baby hair is NOT part of it - I used it to fill the empty forehead space, so you may want to use one with it. I've done lots of hairline recolors (find them in my makeup tag) if anyone's interested, but they don't include the 7 new unnaturals yet (I will be adding them to the ones I personally use and I'll upload them for people who use my newer hairs).
