Something ancient AND low-poly, plus my very first accessory mesh!

So here it is, my first ever bodyshape conversion! 😁



Gelydh's Pinup Capris outfit for CPU, with Bosie's "Lilian" (version 1) and some of Azaya's "Dancing" textures. I might make some recolors of my own at some point but I figured I'd upload these now because there's already 18 recolors.



I used LetoMills' edit for the conversion - they reshaped the shoes and edited the mapping to accommodate skins for sexyfeet. As a bonus I've also slapped the same textures on Leto's Maxis AF mesh. Categorized as everyday only, BSOK'd and tooltipped (non-BSOK) versions. The mesh has all morphs and 2040 polys. The repo'd files are texture-referenced to a file labeled "Textures" which is required.

It's been a hot minute, again, I know... but my husband and I moved into our new house, and since we did all the moving ourselves I was too exhausted to do anything other than zone out in front of YouTube when I wasn't packing or lugging shit down 3 flights of stairs. But now things have settled down and I've had time to recuperate, so look forward to more regular content from me (whether that's a good or a bad thing is entirely up to you).

I did have ideas for the last GoS theme and I was working on something but didn't want to rush to finish it, so that'll be coming soon. In the meantime, here's a hair retexture I've had done for a while and some assorted defaults!

I'm rebuilding my gameplay hood and decided I want to add a lot more aliens and build a sci-fi downtown, so I needed some appropriate CC. Last year's gift was fantasy themed, so this year's is centered around my other favorite fictional genre! Gut Goss Gosties - Startrekvsfaceapp x Dall-E Posters on NL Grilled Cheese

I'm a huge Trekkie, so I follow Startrekvsfaceapp on Tumblr, and recently they've been posting AI-generated TV & movie posters they made with Dall-E. I freaking CRIED laughing over these because this type of thing just hits my strange brand of humor on the nose. I thought they'd be great as wall deco for my Sims 2 game, but wasn't sure anyone else would have a use for them. However, Pooklet and Azaya apparently share my sense of humor, because they uploaded these cereal boxes and wall graffiti for their Advent a couple of months ago (which went right into my game of course), so I decided why the hell not 😆

It's kind of ironic that the first CC with text I'm sharing since I switched back to English in my game sounds remarkably like Simlish (I swear during the brief time I played TS4 I heard a sim say the exact words "Furntra Furnuma"). But using Simlish in a semi-realistic game didn't work - I'd either have to use content that looks out of place, spend years recreating everything I like in Simlish, or forego using text entirely. Now I feel like I've been granted a dangerous power and I plan to wreak havoc upon TS2 with it 😈

There are a few with more than one poster for the same media, because you're not going to make me decide between "Roobo Robit" and "Rop Boop," or "Zemp Meep" and "Smer Mep." Obviously. There are 24 in total:



Like it says these are on the Grilled Cheese poster from Nightlife, and are shown with Sushigal007's add-ons and NekoSayuri's smaller one from this set (I may not play Maxis Match, but give me ALLLLL the add-ons for Maxis objects I use, especially wall deco!) Base Game Designer Lounge Recolors with Azaya's textures

The name for this chair in the catalog is ? = (C^11)? (uh... wtf? Is that a math equation?) but the game files call it chairloungedesigner because it's part of the Designer collection. I love Azaya's retexture and have her default for it from the same post, and I wanted more recolors, so I did 14. I've been trying to branch out a little with colors in my game, but ended up going with the usual purple/teal/blue/pink jewel tones and pastels because they suited it best. Oh well.

BG Zecutime Cityside Sofa Recolors with Alexis' textures

I never really used this sofa in the game before, but I saw this nice retexture of it in Azaya's legacy and she kindly re-uploaded it for me here since it was from SimsCave 10 years ago and thus probably lost to the void. It's by someone named Alexis. I did 22 recolors, except for the black one they're all neons and pastels because apparently that's what I do these days for CC that isn't dark and spooky. So, not for the faint of heart I guess 😆



These also recolor the matching loveseat (not shown) and PineappleForest's living chair add-on (which is shown). The metal frame recolor in the preview is also theirs from the same post. I did do a default for myself, but I doubt it'd be of use to anyone else because I think I used some of the brightest colors (I know Hangfire and Pyridine were two of them). However, if anyone wants default neon couches, hit me up and I'll upload it for you.

Neon Jungle - Buggybooz Pots & Planters (in colors plant pots shouldn't come in)

So... I use the heck out of this set in my game, and I did recolors a few years back - but again, since I started truly expressing myself with my game and turned it into a rainbow hellscape, I wasn't using them anymore. I don't think I've seen these in bright colors or pastels anywhere, which is understandable, because, well *points to the title*. So here's 60 - yes, SIXTY - recolors, 30 grungy ones using a texture by someone named Mimi that came with Shasta's repo'd & improved version of the set, and 30 with the original texture. The grungy ones are mostly vibrant (that's an understatement) colors using actions by Pooklet, Furbyq, & BerryNooboos. The plain ones are mosty pastels and some jewel tones (I think some of the latter are repeats from the old set but I might have tweaked them this time and they have a new dirt texture anyway).

The One Mesh To Rule Them All (planter 2 large) is included, but be sure to get the whole set here (Pots & Planters 2015), and hokadk47 has add-ons here and here, I used a couple of them in my preview.

So, changing my palette has got me hyped to do hair again, and now it's time to freshen up my catalog with some new retextures & recolors!
 

 

 

So this was supposed to be posted 2 days ago, but I started working on it too late in the month, kept adding onto it, and am perpetually late and slow in general. Then I spent way too much time setting up and fiddling with previews, and I kept getting the disappearing makeup glitch. But... better late than never, right? If you're like me and it's Halloween every day in your game, you may find a use for these 😆

UPDATE 12/15/23: LetoMills noticed a problem with the dress texture - I had forgotten to make the underskirt in the back the same color as the front. I've updated the files and provided an alternate version with their edited mesh from this post. I have not replaced the TF versions and EF custom versions as they are new meshes, the recolors would need to be redone and I no longer make clothing for ages I don't use (the textures are fixed though). Of course, feel free to do those and share them if you'd like.

This is inspired by Almighty Hat's and MidgeTheTree's matchmaker default replacements. I love the idea of the matchmaker as a witch, it's perfect for my game, but the outfits aren't my style and I hate 99% of Maxis hair. So I made my own version!



This replaces the matchmaker's outfit with Cynnix's EF conversion of Sherahbim's Heart of the Forest dress, and the hair with Marja's mashup of Nouk's Flow hair and the AL witch hat. Not sure if anyone else will like the colors I chose but oh well 😆 Both the dress & the hair are unhidden and can be found in the Nightlife section of the catalog. The EP7 (FreeTime) clones are also replaced with the same thing but I kept them hidden because I have no idea what they're for. The dress comes with repositoried AF & TF versions. The hair has a hatless state for all categories besides Everyday, Formal, & Outerwear and has also been made available for AF & TF. The hair textures are Nouk's original from Almighty Hat's recolors and comes in Pooklet's Mail Bomb for elders and Dynamite/Depth Charge/Volatile/Pyrotechnic for the other ages.



Polycounts - Dress: 3276 / Hair: 1916 / Hat: 1788 (I think the one for the hat includes both hat and hair since it's a single mesh?)
There are 3 files: one for just the dress, one for just the hair, and one for the two combined.

There are 12, they're available for TF, AF, & EF and are categorized as Everyday & Formal. Recolor 01 is the one I used for the matchmaker, so if you use the default you can delete that one.
