Pride 2023!

Last year I wanted to do more for Pride Month, but my plans were thwarted by getting ridiculously sick with Covid when I went home to visit family. So I'm making up for it this year, and as with the event projects I've done in the past year or two, I got super inspired and went a bit overboard. I was like "yeah watch me not have this ready until the very last day of June" and yep, I know myself too well. But there's no wrong time to celebrate Pride, and in the US where I am and elsewhere in the world this is a dangerous time for the LGBTQ+ community and many simmers can't safely do so in real life. There's a LOT of pictures, so everything's under the cut.

First, here are a couple of F2M hairs - I did these in the past (here and here) and wanted them for my femme M sims. These come in the palette I currently use (if anyone happens to want the additional unnaturals for the F version feel free to ask).

Dancing Queen - Satin & Lace Gowns for Momma Lisa & Trans Momma Lisa

Since my "Dancing into Danger" recolors were also based on Xandher's Vanity Vintage dresses, I was able to put them on LetoMills' Momma Lisa & Trans Momma Lisa versions with just a bit of editing to cover the longer skirt. They come in the same 14 colors:



For YAU-EU, formal only, with all morphs, 3243 polys. The repo'd version is texture-referenced to a required file labeled "TEXTURES." BSOK'd and tooltipped (non-BSOK) versions are included.

Keep Feeling Fascination - Fia & Bosie's Rave Kimonos of FrauHupfner's AM Mesh

This has always been a favorite outfit of mine and I was thrilled when FrauHupfner converted it for AM. So I put my recolors from here and 4 of Bosie's from their original AF version on it (didn't do the beige/brown one because neutral colors aren't my jam 😆).



I also added morphs to the mesh. YA-AM, everyday only, 2159 polys.

What A Feeling - Pride Legwarmers for AF & AM

I don't remember how the idea of Pride legwarmers popped into my head but being a child of the 80s and a great lover of that decade's fashion I was super enthused about it. So I took Lemonlion's 3t2 conversion of Modish Kitten's legwarmers and made 12 recolors based on Pride flags, both with and without pants.

They were only for AF and I wanted them for all genders, so I took it upon myself to convert them to AM. This was the first meshing project I did significant work on - just using the AF to AM WSO alone didn't work out, so after much trial and error I spliced the top of the Maxis AM nude bottom mesh onto it and did some reshaping. It's been play-tested and seems fine but I'm still a beginner at meshing, so please let me know if there are any issues! Both AF and AM have sexyfeet and blockfeet meshes, so choose one for each.



As a bonus I also included recolors with NichelleRJ's pastel rainbow socks from Influence's AF blockfeet version, but made less Maxisy with more texture and ILikeToPlayGod's undies that I used on the rest of them. YA-AU, everyday/athletic/PJs/undies, all morphs, and polycounts are 1316 (blockfeet), 5794 (sexyfeet). Repo'd version is again texture-referenced to a required "TEXTURES" file.

You Cant Spell Pride Month Without DEMON - Pride Shirts for AF & AM & TwoFingersWhiskey Pride Tank Tops for AF

Fitted T-shirts for AF & AM and tank tops for AF with Pride graphics. The tank tops and some of the T-shirts are originally by TwoFingersWhiskey for TF (found here and here) but I only play adults so I took a few favorites and put them on AF & AM tops. (I have SO much CC already, if I played other ages my game would explode 😭) The rest were found on TeePublic, and my personal favorite are the priDEMONth ones so there's 5 variations on that one. (I would've liked Laegrinna and Velguirie to wear them too because they're the Devil's daughters and both bi, but since I use bodyshapes for them now I need to seek out a suitable mesh to convert that won't distort the text 😆)

These are the T-shirts - the AF ones are on HP's untuckable top and AM is just on a Maxis mesh.



And these are the tank tops, which I slapped on Aikea Guinea's AF fitted tee mesh.



Unfortunately the T-shirts couldn't be repo'd as the meshes and textures are different. They're all categorized as Everyday/Athletic/PJs.

We Can Light It Up, So They Can't Put It Out - Buggybooz Glory Garland Pride Recolors

22 recolors of Buggybooz's Glory Garland from their Bindi Lounge set in color scemes based on Pride flags. I love this light and use it everywhere, it's so versatile - it looks cute as an indoor accent, fun backyard lighting, or festive decoration for parties and community lots. Say It Loud, Say It Clear - Pride Wall Deco on Various Meshes

I'm obsessed with wall deco of all kinds, so I went a little crazy making some Pride stuff for your sims' walls! (Yep, I used the DEMON design again 😆) Swatches are linked because there are several and they are big.

I wanted to do the polyamory flag but I couldn't get it to look right because of the fold in the middle, the intersex one isn't great for the same reason but not as bad so it's included. There's a plain white base in case anyone wants to make more. [Swatch]
