A Cosmic Glow

It's been a hot minute, again, I know... but my husband and I moved into our new house, and since we did all the moving ourselves I was too exhausted to do anything other than zone out in front of YouTube when I wasn't packing or lugging shit down 3 flights of stairs. But now things have settled down and I've had time to recuperate, so look forward to more regular content from me (whether that's a good or a bad thing is entirely up to you).

I did have ideas for the last GoS theme and I was working on something but didn't want to rush to finish it, so that'll be coming soon. In the meantime, here's a hair retexture I've had done for a while and some assorted defaults!

And the final part of my 800 followers gift! 2 sets of pants, which my male sims were in desperate need of.



25 recolors of Aikea Guinea’s open boots for AM (Male Clothes > pg. 5) and Azaya's TM conversion. I love this mesh and haven’t seen any other recolors except the 2 originals, so sorry if it’s been done before. My favorite pants textures are the ones Kayleigh at Under Your Skin used in this set, so I chose the ones I like best (most are Aikea’s but there’s some by Trapping, Gelydh, & Yuichen). 16 recolors of MDPs 4t2 SP13 Jeans Ripped for AM, both tucked and untucked versions (meaning tucked into the boots, not the “untucked” jeans us old simmers had in 2008 lol)  I love 4t2 and 3t2 conversions but often the textures are too.. Maxis for me. I’ve been dying to try semi-realistic textures on converted Maxis jeans and I finally gave it a shot, it took some fiddling but wasn’t too hard.

The textures are by Aikea & Trapping with the holes from the original jeans. There are also 6 colored ones with Aikea’s “light wash” as a base (if you look closely, it says “MMQ” in Simlish on the back label 😉) Everyday & Outerwear, all morphs, polycounts 2114 (tucked), 1906 (untucked). [SWATCH]

Here are some BV defaults for you! The first is an edit of Amaryll's default Bigfoot to better suit semi-realistic games.



His hair now has Io's edit of Pooklet's V3 textures in Depth Charge as an adult and Mail Bomb as an elder. His eyes are CuriousB's "Magic Theatre" in Brown Sugar (original post is here, re-uploaded here) because I use that set as my default human eyes.



He comes in two flavors: regular and socked (the socks are on his formal/work outfit shown above, but unfortunately for sexyfeet users like me he'll have blockfeet otherwise - I don't have the meshing knowledge to change that, sorry! It's an exception I'll make because I love this default).

afbodylumberjack replaced with an edit of Lemonlion's default with Anubis Break Down to have black boots & suspenders. For some reason the ladies only get one lumberjack outfit, so it's replaced with the original red one (left). I've also edited their other recolors and made 6 more because I love this mesh and the plaid is so cute on it. Everyday, all morphs, 3510 polys. (SWATCH)

Now that I'm actually playing the game again, M'Quve needed some summer attire that suits his style. So I recolored Rented-Space's 3t2 Not That Chilly V-Neck Scarf because it has a cravat. Ascot. Scarf. Thing. :D 




There are 9 colors with a black scarf and a bonus one I made special for M'Quve based on the colors of his uniform in Mobile Suit Gundam (he's wearing it on the left).

Another default I had been meaning to do for a long time. ambodycapetuxedo (both the vampire suit and the plain one) replaced with Yuxi's Count M Coat.



The vampire suit is replaced by the black (right) recolor and the plain one by the blue (left) recolor. I have also unhidden the vampire one in the catalog. There are two choices - Maxis hands or smooth hands. Obviously, Nightlife is required.
