A Cosmic Glow

It's been a hot minute, again, I know... but my husband and I moved into our new house, and since we did all the moving ourselves I was too exhausted to do anything other than zone out in front of YouTube when I wasn't packing or lugging shit down 3 flights of stairs. But now things have settled down and I've had time to recuperate, so look forward to more regular content from me (whether that's a good or a bad thing is entirely up to you).

I did have ideas for the last GoS theme and I was working on something but didn't want to rush to finish it, so that'll be coming soon. In the meantime, here's a hair retexture I've had done for a while and some assorted defaults!

UPDATE 12/15/23: LetoMills noticed a problem with the dress texture - I had forgotten to make the underskirt in the back the same color as the front. I've updated the files and provided an alternate version with their edited mesh from this post. I have not replaced the TF versions and EF custom versions as they are new meshes, the recolors would need to be redone and I no longer make clothing for ages I don't use (the textures are fixed though). Of course, feel free to do those and share them if you'd like.

This is inspired by Almighty Hat's and MidgeTheTree's matchmaker default replacements. I love the idea of the matchmaker as a witch, it's perfect for my game, but the outfits aren't my style and I hate 99% of Maxis hair. So I made my own version!



This replaces the matchmaker's outfit with Cynnix's EF conversion of Sherahbim's Heart of the Forest dress, and the hair with Marja's mashup of Nouk's Flow hair and the AL witch hat. Not sure if anyone else will like the colors I chose but oh well 😆 Both the dress & the hair are unhidden and can be found in the Nightlife section of the catalog. The EP7 (FreeTime) clones are also replaced with the same thing but I kept them hidden because I have no idea what they're for. The dress comes with repositoried AF & TF versions. The hair has a hatless state for all categories besides Everyday, Formal, & Outerwear and has also been made available for AF & TF. The hair textures are Nouk's original from Almighty Hat's recolors and comes in Pooklet's Mail Bomb for elders and Dynamite/Depth Charge/Volatile/Pyrotechnic for the other ages.



Polycounts - Dress: 3276 / Hair: 1916 / Hat: 1788 (I think the one for the hat includes both hat and hair since it's a single mesh?)
There are 3 files: one for just the dress, one for just the hair, and one for the two combined.

There are 12, they're available for TF, AF, & EF and are categorized as Everyday & Formal. Recolor 01 is the one I used for the matchmaker, so if you use the default you can delete that one.

Coming in on the last day as usual... 😑 I've been working on a bunch of other things and wasn't sure I'd have much to contribute to this theme as I mainly play adults, but then I remembered I wanted to replace the AL social class outfits so my elder townies have nice things to wear. So here are default replacements for 4 EF outfits from AL, with custom versions & other ages for some of them.



efbodybohemian replaced with DeeDee & Episims' 4t2 conversion of Saurus's Sage Dress. I used one of the original recolors (the purple patchwork one) because I like it, the other 8 are my own recolors. I also did my recolors for AF & TF. Note that the default only replaces the EF boho outfit, I have a different one planned for the other ages. Everyday only, all morphs, 5245 polys.

I reached 800 followers not too long ago, so I have a gift for you in three parts! This time, I decided to do something different - it’s almost entirely male-focused, as I don’t make nearly enough content for guys.







The first part is... clowns? Yep! 😁 Defaults for the AM clown suit and the AM & AF clown hats from FT, and custom versions of the hairs.

Now that I've shared my FD gifts, I can get back to overhauling my defaults! Which means that you're in for multiple contributions from me 😃

These are defaults for the AL breakdancer and FT trackdance outfits, and additional custom recolors. With some very... loud 80s patterns. For both, Breakdancer is everyday & athletic, Trackdance is athletic only. Breakdancer outfits are unhidden and also enabled for elders since that's how it was in the game originally (I think?)

This was posted back in 2019 at GoS but I realized I had never posted it here. It's a default replacement for the witch outfits, a collaboration between Rudhira and myself (I did the adult and they did the teen & elder because it was making my brain explode 😆



The evil (red) one is one of Gelydh's originals (TSR Sets > AF > page 6) and the good & neutral ones are recolors by me (which you can find the custom version of here). It should be unhidden in your catalog and categorized as Everyday & Formal.

Another default I had been meaning to do for a long time. ambodycapetuxedo (both the vampire suit and the plain one) replaced with Yuxi's Count M Coat.



The vampire suit is replaced by the black (right) recolor and the plain one by the blue (left) recolor. I have also unhidden the vampire one in the catalog. There are two choices - Maxis hands or smooth hands. Obviously, Nightlife is required.

I've been meaning to do this for a while now, and since Bergatory already did the default and I already retextured the hair, I was able to get it done right away.



tfhairlong & afhairlong replaced with Raon 103 and the unnaturals (only available through the mirror) with madamcorbeau's shaved edit. I only use a few hair defaults as I hide most of the Maxis hairs, but I was annoyed that the Diva spawns with this one and you can't remove it even with sim surgery.

There are two options for the naturals included in the rar, choose one:

-Pooklet family 1, because this suits my own binning scheme (Dynamite, Depth Charge, Incendiary, Explosive, & Pipe Bomb)
-Option 2 (Dynamite, Depth Charge, Volatile, Pyrotechnic, & Mail Bomb)

The unnaturals for both options are Hangfire, Shock Wave, and Tetryl.
