'Tis the season for some defaults!

Merry Christmas everyone! As usual, I procrastinated on taking previews, so I’m up after midnight posting this 😆

I’m doing an overhaul of my downloads folder to better suit my personal aesthetic and so I can make room for more CC. I use hiders for most Maxis clothing but the Apartment Life hider breaks my witch replacement (unacceptable!) I actually like some AL meshes but the shoes are awful and the colors aren’t to my taste. So I’m changing up my defaults, and here are some for AL! Featuring a lot of stuff by Gelydh, apparently.

The purple recolor is a tweak by me, because I wasn’t a fan of the greenish-brown one. Original default by Mortire, mesh by Gelydh.

I totally freaked out when I discovered this awesome mesh. I had a different shoeswap by Rented-Space (re-uploaded here) that I love so I put their recolors on it.



I did the default replacement this time. The default colors are the original Maxis green, Rosso Corsa, and Cornflower.

I loved Aweeshie’s default but I wanted a more vivid red and a purple plus more recolors.



I’m a color action hoarder, I can never have enough of them. I wondered how wildlyminiaturesandwich’s unnaturals would look on clothing because there are some gorgeous jewel tones that suit my aesthetic. Turns out they look great! I also used a couple of Kinu’s Hanakotoba colors for the first time. So there are 12 recolors, and the default comes in the original Maxis black (it’s called dresslilblack, after all!), Tomato, and Quirky Petal. Everyday & Formal.

That godawful moto jacket has to be one of the ugliest things in the game. I have Mooglesims’ defaults for all three versions of it, and the AL one is one of my most overused pieces of clothing CC (GOD I LOVE CORSETS!!!) But the colors were a bit neutral/muted for me. So I put some favorite recolors on it.



This only replaces the moto jackets that came with AL. I believe this is something that spawns on social group townies (gearheads maybe?)
