GoS Founder's Day 2023 - Encounters in Space!

Yesterday was my day to share!



I'm rebuilding my gameplay hood and decided I want to add a lot more aliens and build a sci-fi downtown, so I needed some appropriate CC. Last year's gift was fantasy themed, so this year's is centered around my other favorite fictional genre! If you happen to like colorful, wildly impractical, futuristic clothing and hair... today's your lucky day! 😁 Everything's under the cut!

Most of these meshes are 3t2 conversions from Into the Future. I've never played TS3 - I've only watched people play on YouTube - but I love me some 3t2 conversions. They fit nicely into my multi-themed semi-realistic game.




Wir Fliegen - 3t2 EP11 Ascot (top) & Cutout Bott (pants)

So this was an outfit I've wanted to do for years for M'Quve (the only human sim in this photoshoot, and my namesake if you didn't know) because it reminds me of both his uniform and pilot suit in Mobile Suit Gundam. These are separate tops and bottoms in 16 color combos that can be coordinated if you'd like. I gave the cuffs on the top and the boots on the bottom a shiny silver look. Both are for AM, TM, EM, & CU and categorized as everyday & formal (because ascots are fancy, aren't they?) They have all morphs, the top is 2712 polys and the bottom is 1950. Repo'd version requires AM files.

Möbius Universe - 3t2 EP11 Time Traveler

Hoo boy. The mapping on this outfit was straight from the 9th circle of hell 😱 I swear I've never had this much trouble with 3t2 clothing until I decided to retexture a bunch of it at once. But, I had a vision for this thing and it was galaxy prints with (again) shiny silver accents. There are 9 of them and they are for AM, TM, & EM. If by chance you happen to have this outfit already, there was an issue with Rented-Space's EM mesh which they kindly fixed for me (thanks again!), so let this one replace the old one. Everyday & formal, all morphs, 5528 polys. Repo'd version requires AM files.

Electric Youth - 3t2 EP11 Suit Balloon

This is a dress, I have no idea why Maxis called it a suit, but whatever. If you look closely at the model on the right, you'll see that the shoes have no heels - no doubt some marvel future technology is involved 😆 I went a bit overboard with recolors on this one - there are 20, using colors by Furbyq & BerryNooboos and some of Oydis's EOS Iridescents, which I think turned out very pretty on it. AF only, everyday & formal, all morphs, 4428 polys.

Pure Energy - 3t2 EP11 Jacket Oversize & Cuts Bott

This is another two-piece set I made to coordinate. I think I managed to achieve a convincing holographic effect with some Photoshop experimentation (here's a close-up of the back of the jacket). The skirt comes in 10 variations and the jacket has 12 undershirt colors which all match one or more of the skirts. Both are for AF, TF & EF, everyday only. All meshes have fat but not preg morphs, the jacket is 2562 polys and the skirt is 1542. Repo'd version requires AF files. (I keep getting the name of the skirt confused with the pants in the other set. Cuts Bott is the F skirt, Cutout Bott is the M pants. Maxis... *sigh*)

And now for some hairs! You may or may not know I decided to change my hair palette a few months ago. I wanted more unnaturals but didn't want to use more colors in total, and I was burned out making 46 recolors when I wasn't using all of them. So I cut down to 12 naturals and expanded the unnaturals to 21 (yes it's still a LOT and no I couldn't decide on an even number 😓) All of these hairs come in those colors, with the following exceptions: Explosive replaces Molotov for the dreads and angle braid bun (I prefer it as a red for my sims of color) and the asymmetrical bob has gradients on all the naturals with binned and unbinned options. Only naturals are binned, but not familied, and everything should work for elders.

I love this so much!!! I'm kitting out my alien hood and despite the 3t2 outfits fitting in nicely, there just wasn't enough variation or color for my taste, so I was thinking of yeeting them... But these are perfect and will make them 10x more useful in my game!! Especially the skirt - those shoes are so cool, but the default colors were so blah lol

Hey! I'm so glad you like them! I love 3t2 meshes but yeah, the default colors are very bland, because TS3 has Create-A-Style to make them look like whatever you want.
