GoS Treasure Hunt 2016 Contribution

Now that all the treasures have been revealed, here's my contribution, which to be honest I've been itching to post since I'm quite satisfied with how it turned out and had a LOT of fun making it!

I had a serious lack of bright and funky sunglasses in my game. As kids in the '80s and early '90s my sister and I each had at least a dozen little plastic pairs in assorted neon colors. We had Cabbage Patch Kids shades with heart lenses, some that look like a diver's mask that I don't know the proper name for, and a whole bunch with frames like Tamo's Buddy Holly glasses. Except, of course, mine didn't have those cute little plumbbob accents ;)

So, here are 33 recolors of Tamo's mesh in 18 solid brights & pastels, 6 gradients, and 9 patterns.



(At least one had to be rainbow. And I still have a soft spot for neon paint splatter print :D)

I think these look a bit better in-game than in Bodyshop. I don't like to over-edit my previews - I use Pooklet's fabulous lighting editing actions but try my best to accurately depict what you're going to get. I was worried that the gold glitter wouldn't look good, but it turned out better than I expected.

These glasses are unisex and work for kids through elders. I enabled them for everything except undies but you can change that easily with the Wardrobe Wrangler if you want (I like my Sims to be able to wear their sunnies with their swimwear, but on second thought that means they'll jump in the pool without taking them off). The files are clearly labeled, swatches are included, and it's all been compressorized as usual.

P.S. Can you get all the song title references? A couple of them are a little obscure, but if you're my age or older you'll recognize most of them ;)
